Long shot, but.
Anyone have a 1:60, 3 groove, 58cal unusable barrel laying around that might have a few inches of good area that they would be willing to part with that few inches?.
My Remington minimum bore to lands is .567/.568. Typical .575 minie is too big diameter. Archives from forums indicate the proper diameter is .569 Pritchett, modified. Use to be LEM in .569 but not now. No standard molds in this diameter. Custom mold just more than I'm willing to put into. Plan is to use piece of same style barrel for sizing so the rifling is in it for ease of loading.

That’s a long shot alright. Why not just put a piece of pipe in a lathe and cut the I.d. To .568/9...

Be easy if I had a lathe. Won't be a problem with an adjustable H5 reamer.
