I really don't understand what all the fuss is about.
Who cares about punctuation such as commas, periods, semicolons and the like?

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I implore you.

Can you not see the difference?

Can you not perceive the difference in intelligibility imparted using punctuation?

Nice one, Doc.

Is Mr. Zumbo's blog back up?

It might be nice if he saw this thread (minus all the comma-wrangling silliness, perhaps).

I would want to know that the same people who who jumped on me when I screwed up were just as happy to support me when I made amends...

He doesn't even really know how to work a message board, so I doubt he will be posting it anywhere.
I figure he's like my dad. He can check e-mail as long as there is no attachments, and may be able to read the news and weather, lol.

The problem is it is far easier to put a hole in the bottom of the boat than it is to plug one .

Despite anything Zumbo says now we will "Bleed" from his first remarks for a very long time .

Anything he says afterwords will simply be dismissed by the antis as coerced since he lost his job with so many organizations due to those remarks .

Be that as it may and to whatever degree.... the man is articulate and can speak with passion.

I'd much rather have him on our side and active than not.

To all of you who have never made a big mistake at any point in your lives, you have my astonishment. Or more likely my incredulity.

To all of you who have made a big mistake at some point in your lives and have labored hard and sincerely to undo the harm from same, you have my kinship and understanding.

Very well stated meef.

I was just as twisted as everyone else by Mr. Zumbo's gaff. But, I am astonished and pleased by what appears to be a genuinely sincere attempt to right the wrong. It's something that just isn't seen often enough in today's world.

Welcome back to the fraternity Jim. Keep up the good fight.

Me?

Make a big mistake?

Never.

Perish the thought.

I'm that guy without sin who would cast the first stone.

The concept of redemption, like accessories, is what separates man from the animals. You're more than just okay. :)

So basically, we're treating Dumbo, I mean Zumbo, like a South Park Episode? We make him kiss Charlton Heston's butt to apologize and everything is back to normal?

No.

What I'm saying is that it appears that Jim is making a sincere effort to right the wrong. The degree to which he will succeed remains to be seen. But, I'm personally going to cut him some slack as he tries to fulfill his commitment.

Zumbo Dumbo. Too little, too late. He can rot.
When his keister gets tossed for being a fool he suddenly sees the light?
Meadow muffins.

If only

more people could be converted like Mr.Zumbo. I'm glad he wrote Mr.Levin about using his words and trying to further turn people against him.
