I can. I've been buying Rugers for decades. Not one, two or even ten but a total of 56 guns. Not only have I never experienced what you're talking about but in 15yrs on RugerForum and up to 20yrs other forums, I've never heard of it either.
That's inaccurate.
They used to be one ragged hole but the guy selling them now dropped the raggedI believe the correct name is "One Ragged Hole". I have one on the .45 colt Blackhawk I showed in an earlier post (photo before installation of sight). If your eyes are getting old, the sight is a wonder. You won't get as precise a sight picture as with other types of sights, but it is fast and easily minute of bunny head.
Those are .44Spl's.What is that beautiful nonfluted stainless Gp100?
Been debating an LCR in 22, but I want a 2" with adjustable sights......sean m
That's a mighty fine collection of Rugers! Looks like you've got all your bases covered with that line-up!

Like the grips on your Single Six! Who made them? They remind me of a pair of Mustang Grips a friend of mine has on his Super Blackhawk. I found them to be very well designed grips and were a big improvement over the original ones, especially at reducing felt recoil and muzzle flip. They made the gun much more comfortable to shoot.
