As I posted earlier, I moved my reloading bench from the basement to the garage. One of the obvious things I was missing in the move was empty ammo boxes for my reloads. I found ONE box, and I knew I had three dozen or more. Gone, so I thought.
Well, I went out in the garage this morning and poked around. Under some Christmas decoration boxes, was a large unmarked box. It was light, so I had hope. I opened it, and Voila! Ammo Boxes Galore;

I almost orderd some from Midway yesterday to replace these that I had thought were tossed out by accident, or at best hopelessly misplaced. That order would have been a waste. I have plenty, as you can see. Luckily, I have five 44 Magnum boxes, so I have storage for my (new to me) 45 Long Colt reloads.
As a bonus, in the box was my grandfather's 12 ga reloading kit and Tomlinson Gun Cleaning Kit with the old large wooden cleaning rods. I think my late father told me these were from the late 1920s. The reloading press is a now antiquated Sears and Roebuck. I had forgotten about these. A nice surprise, and another "Sporting" connection to my grandfather. I have his bamboo fly fishing rod and reel hanging in my cabin. I was planning on putting these items out near my reloading bench as decorative memorabilia;
