On the West side of Puget Sound, open carry seems so commonplace these days as to be unremarkable. I see at least one or two (usually males, but occasionally a female) OCers stopping for gas or picking up something at the local Fred Myer store ... and what is it about Wal-Mart, anyway? I see OCers at my local Wallyworld every time I stop in to pick up some ammo.
In this state, no one notices really ... Now carrying around a shotgun or playing with one at the gun counter while OCing a handgun seems a little ill-advised.
