Maybe the next incarnation of the Browning HiPower...

You just compared that to a Glock?

Come on man....
Well, it was really just a joke. We all like what we like.I agree with Trey. Take away the full length shroud/cheese grader and the funky colors and we can talk. As is, kinda gross.
Glocks, while blocky and simple, have clean lines without all the funky cuts, ridges and colors. I find pleasure in simplicity.
Then again, ugly guns need love too!

They went the wrong way with cartridge. Let me know if they fix that.
the funky colors
It would be a logical progression. The only other chamberings that would potentially interest me are .38 Super and 10mm. But only after having one in 9mm.
I too would be most interested in the compact version, if CZ/Dan Wesson are listening.
They're listening. It's the one I'm interested in. From their website:
The full-size DWX uses standard CZ 75 grips, while the compact DWX uses those from a 75 Compact.
Their website says it's new for 2020, so I'm assuming that we're going to have to wait until at least January.
I just so happen to have 12 CZ Compact mags for my PCR...this doesn't look good for the pocket book.
Same here. I already know which guns I'm selling to pay for this.
That's not a funky-colored CZ. This is a funky-colored CZ:

Yes, that is factory livery. It's a CZ Parrot.
A lot of CZ's market is competitive shooters. Competitive shooters love crazy colors on their guns. It's sort of a way to openly flaunt a rejection of the tacticool/threat-scan aesthetic. But it's also common to race gear across sports. Think of how race cars are painted, or the silks that jockeys wear.
CZ knows their market pretty well. They've killed it with their coloring for the Shadow 2 and Tac Sport Orange in terms of sales.
