Oldest Rifle That Still Shoots Safely And Accurately

What is the oldest rifle that is in your collection that is safe to shoot with modern standard ammo, and that you would take afield to hunt because it is still accurate? Mine is an 1898 Springfield Krag that was made in 1900, although it isn’t as accurate as fresher rifles, it would still put meat in the freezer.
I have a 94 Krag rifle and a 96 carbine. The carbine is more accurate, so I say it's the oldest.

My grandpas rifle. It’s a single shot no-name 22 that has killed no telling how many squirrels and rabbits. I learned to shoot with it as did my mother and her siblings and all of my cousins. I wouldn’t think twice about taking it out to get a mess of something. I had it out of the safe today just thinking about it and decided to dig it out. It was give to my grandpa by his grandpa in the 30s and was used when it was bought then. Somewhere here is a folder with the receipt for it where it cost about a dollar and a half with 3 boxes of ammo.

I have my grandfathers Remington 512. It is extremely accurate. My grandfather used to stick strike-anywhere matches in the edge of a piece of cardboard and sit 15 feet away and light each match with each shot.
These rifles are shooters, I shoot mine regularly at 200 yards with the redfield sights, but am going to have to put a scope on it now as my eyes are not as good as they once were. Luckily about ten years ago I ordered a mount from this guy who used to machine then using the original red field mounts so I don't have to tap the receiver. Looking forward to shooting it again at 200 yards. Also have a mount for my 52C Winchester.

I’d like to see a picture of that.

My Spanish Mauser. (7mm) Of course the reason it still shoots well is because I had it modified for a modern red dot sight. I absolutely hate those old sights... I have old Brazilian Mauser as well... love the 7mm round.

I have a Finn M39 built on an 1895 Tula receiver. It was made as an M39 in 1943, and from the looks of it odds are good it went to Leningrad and back. Still shoots very well, I've won a vintage rifle match with it VS Springfields and Garands.

The oldest Intact rifle I have that fits the title of the post is a 1915 Swedish M96 CG. This one has also won rifle matches, and is among my most accurate military rifles to this day.

M1888 German Commission rifle Has 1891 stamped on it. It was rechambered from 8x57J (.318" diameter) to 8x57 S (.323" diameter) for the Volksstrurm at the end of WW2. I pity the poor old farts that had to fire this thing in battle. Not sure which end of it hurts worse.

I've shot it a bit, but I have much better hunting hardware. :D I have a K98K Mauser in 8x57. I must say, the Germans made a big time improvement in THAT weapon. :D
