I just happen to be on Ruger website today and noticed a couple of Redhawk revolvers are illegal to own in California.
This makes absolutely no sense in any stretch of the word "common sense".
I'm so glad I moved out over 20 years ago, now I need to get my Son and his family out of there!!

So with all the new releases in the last few years (decade-whatever) what 100+ year old cartridge do you still shoot ? plinking, hunting or otherwise ?
The .22 S, L, or LR is a given; so I'll leave that one out.
I'm currently involved with,

Finally found some (private party) 174 grn RN .312" hunting bullets for my 7.65x53 Argentine mausers.
It's been a year since I bought some 150 grn .312" SST plastic tipped bullets, and they were the most accurate of all the brands I tried; Sierra, Speer, and Remington, which were all .311".

looking for a barrel to go with this action.
As I have three other Yugo 98's (intermediate actions) which
are not suitable for the conversion, I'm asking for...
in 8mm (.323"); has anybody out there used them on game? I have heard them to be very accurate, but would like to know the results on game at 8x57 Mauser velocities. Thanks in advance !
Just inherited a Mak, are they virtually the same thing? or am I way off base.
It didn't come with any magazines and I was wondering if the AK mags will fit?
thanks !
Mojo mauser sights, any body else use em?
80-85 yards with a military sling and my handloads using IMR 3031 and Hornady 170 grn round nose Interlocks.

So this guy I work with, his gramps passed away a few months ago, and his dad was cleaning things out and found it. I did some research, and found out it is the model 14 successor and was made between 1938-1946, it was sold in 30 Remington, 32 Remington and 35 Remington. 30 Rem and 32 Rem ammo...
