If you want to see .22 holes at 100 yards you will be spending over $500. Kowa is a brand you'll see at high power matches. They are well worth the money.
I'll third the Kowa. Well worth the effort and wait. Go to a high power match and the majority of the spotting scopes are Kowa. A fair option is the Konus line.
Try a few other brands of ammo to see how they group. With a 20 inch barrel and the right twist you may get better accuracy from a 62 or 69 grain load.
As others have said, make sure your base is secure first, a little blue Loctite on the base screws will ensure it does not come loose. I use Burris steel rings for .22 scopes. Then get a decent scope, Leopold makes a nice .22 scope, Nikon has one as well. Your going to pay more, scope and rings...
So I have a Karl Zeiss 6.5-20X50 MC Conquest, purchased around 2012. While I think the glass is very good I don't care for the turret rotation direction. Thinking about selling it, thoughts on its value?

Anyone have any experience with Retrorifles out of Reno NV? I have found a few reviews online, a few good and some that were meh? Looking at their retro uppers for AR15's
