George, ok, don't be OTLO. *** am I supposed to do, not say a word? Jeez, if I had the inkling that this would happen (these were not in my household, thus I could not ensure they were in a safe) I would have had their S/N's. Give a guy a break will ya? This is my lot now. If you don't like...
TexasRifleman, she wasn't holding them for me. They were supposed to be returned months ago.
Yeah, the Sheriff's involved. We'll see if he finds the guilty party...I hope so.
No comment on the other thoughts. I'm sure that all individuals are being investigated.
Well, it seems that some of my guns have been stolen while my ex wife was holding them so please be on the lookout for these guns.
RRA/Holliger full house A2 Service Rifle. Pinned sight, weights fore and aft, all the goodies, should have the twist rate (either 1:6/5 or 1:7) written in...
Way back when we said it would be ok to post links here to For Sale items if they were competition related, so here goes:

Ok, well, I'm not sure if reaming it will allow for better metering but it will help the consistency of what falls into the case. The reason I say that is that the bar's metering won't change. The drop funnel can, however, allow powder (especially stick powder) to bridge, thereby giving you a...
Gents, I have been QUITE removed from this forum and the gun hobby for a while but I will gladly answer your question if it still exists. Is there anybody out there?
Jeez, John, I'm sorry to hear that! I'll save the "you know betters" and just say I hope you are feeling much better now, and your words will ring with someone.
One of my first matches I had a friend get very ill. I cooled him down and got him full of water, but it was pretty scary. Some...
There is no rule regarding a Camelbak. I haven't worn one while shooting, but I've had it nearby a lot. What I usually do is hydrate like mad the day before and then more the morning of a match...usually with a weak mix of gatorade and water. Then ice and more of the mix into the camelbak and...
Trisha, I have moved, but I was a member if BCGC for years and it is my "home" range. The range rules have always allowed handgun shooting toward the berm (between the pits and the berm) but only when there isn't a match or practice, which basically means you can't use the range on the weekends...
I am also a rules guy...and Quentin caught it (because I was too lazy to walk downstairs to my shooting cart). The semi-auto Match Rifle may load 2 and 8. I remember this being a topic on the Florida site about 3 years ago.
I don't believe there are many (if any) loopholes in the book. You...
I don't know if there has been a change since '03. As you know, you have to learn to read the HP rulebook as interpreting it is not intuitive at times.
For the benefit of others here, the rule Bline Rat quoted tells you that Match rifles must shoot 5 and 5, Service Rifles shoot 2 and 8...
Two things:
1. A standard pressure .308 cartridge will take down bull elk, and certainly anything smaller, with reliability.
2. The use of unapproved ammo will certainly leave you without the lifetime warranty that Armalite gives you. Your call.
If you are real:
Start with your iron sights as they will be there when you drop your rifle on your scope and ruin it. I have been in Iraq and I know you guys slap a $29 Tasco or Bushnell on a rifle and call it good so do yourself a favor and sight in your irons first. Put them 1/2" below POA...
