Probably good advice, I always use a single stage decapper. Have a Dillon available but I set up a cheap Lee single stage for depriming only.

Like many have mentioned....Go slow and throw on some ears & eyes (Just in case) I've done it a few dozen times with no problems.

Is that a Gen III?

Might be more than you’re looking for but a Super Redhawk is hard to beat.

Long slide 10mm. Choices are a little slim in California. Springfield 1911 TRP Operator would be nice. No longer made. Still don't own an AK47, not something I "have" to have but why not?

Just get a tungsten weight kit. Knock the roll pin out, switch a steel weight for a tungsten until you get desired results. A flat wire buffer spring is a nice option too.
