Once had the chance to use one of these - UK Cadet rifle.
"Forgotten Weapons" has a youtube video on it -
It was fitted with the .22" conversion kit so it could be used on indoor ranges.
Awkward to handle with a weird lever...
I think this guy would vouch for the effectiveness of a bunch of keys in the hands of a determined potential victim.......................

You said you've been working with some people from this side of the pond. If your device contains OC or any similar substance then it's a complete non starter over here whatever other uses it may...
It's not quite that bad Natureboy but there are quite a few hoops to jump through if you want to legally own firearms here. And while there are some types of guns we can't have we do try to have fun with what we've got :cool:
The physics is really very simple.
I think what confuses some people is that when we fire a gun in the real world we never launch that bullet parallel to the ground.

Friend of mine has a Shiloh Sharps in 45-120.
It's a beautiful rifle and cool as heck but he'd be the first to tell you a 45-70 would be a lot more practical..................
