I've had two incidents on the range where high-speed bits of brass were plated onto my glasses.
I've also seen other folks with bounced lead chunks that tried to attack their eyes but their glasses blocked them.
Stuff like that is a cautionary tale to wear eye pro.
200+ million standard capacity magazines to be entered into the NFA registry too.
*and* under current regs anything in the NFA registry requires prior permission before transporting across state lines too.
The CCI #400 (small)is intended for lower pressure rifle cartridges.
The CCI #450 (small) is the recommended product for the higher pressure rifle cartridges (.223 Rem for example)
I would put more trust in Brownell's issue detector than Midway's.
Midway twice ended up with massive US ITAR export fines for shipments to Canada
(theoretically trying to comply with ITAR) before giving up on the Canadian marketplace for US exports.
I haven't heard any comparable stories...
I prefer stainless steel in firearms when available.
BTW, you can chemically blacken stainless steel if reflection is an issue for the application.
I believe S&W 6906 had an aluminum alloy frame, stainless slide.
Alternatively, buy ahead enough that you can readily ride out the sporadic surges in demand. My definition of "enough"

1/3" (0.333) brass rods fit 9mmx19 and .38/.357 bores nicely. The better fit to the bore for a squib rod the better it works.

Here is a Canadian example...
using in a stock 9mm revolver?
If I was shooting in a division with a 125 power factor floor, I would probably want some margin
in the power factor - say 133+. Chronographs, scales and temperatures are all variables on match day...
For those leading a mobile lifestyle, many of the gun magazines are also available in electronic downloadable format these days :-)
I read and subscribed to several of the gun magazines for a decade or so from say 1985 to 1995. The nature of such publications is that their information articles...
Having earlier researched the lack of regulatory support for 2A rights for American ex-pats visiting the United States,
there seems to be a similar lack of regulatory recognition of Americans trying to live a mobile lifestyle.
It all flows back to how GCA'68 was drafted.
Since both affected...
I handload a clone of the Hornady .308/125 lite for my aluminum receiver BLR in .308 using H4895. Makes it much more enjoyable to repeatedly fire on the range.
