I took a smaller doe last year with my 6.8 shooting 120 gr Hornady SST and it was a through shot at 50 yards. Decent sized exit hole - good expansion - and it dropped after running another 25 yards.
Hello,
Below is a link to weigh in on Pop Vox. Pop Vox shares results with the White House and your members of congress. It is quick and easy. As always - keep it Highroad and professional.
Thank You,

Carbon Fiber. Light, free float, and cool to the touch.
And no, despite my suggestion, I don't think you would get aluminum that hot without doing numerous mag-dumps.
Buffalo Bore 300 Grn Heavy 44 mag caused sticking cases (and a bruised hand) in my 629-4. I decided it wasn't worth the extra wear and gave them to a Super Redhawk owner. I don't think I would bother using them in an "L" frame.
Regular old Winchester 44 mag 240 grn will have to do should I...
My lawyer advised that NFA trusts should be for NFA only. If you want any other type of trust fine, but don't mix the two. There is no benefit to using your NFA trust for other items.
I also get the feeling that the Ford vs Chevy debate ain't just for trucks. I prefer Fords, but drive a Chevy - just to be a contrarian and keep things interesting. The Chevy gets the job done and does it well, just like an M&P.
I have found nothing wrong with M&P triggers - new or old - other than a slight amount of grittyness when new that is easily taken care of without any extra parts or a trip to a gun shop. Is it a tuned 1911, no.
Not a 1-4 scope, but my AR-15 took a tumble off a shooting bench onto patio blocks below. It landed scope first and dented the top turret cover of the Leupold VX3 2-7. Did not lose zero and other than a few scratches is working perfectly.
I certainly would not recommend this type of...
Interesting (but failed) logic.
Considering magazine fed semi auto pistols have been around for over 100 years and rifles nearly that long, I don't think there is any imminent danger of revolvers and lever action rifles (using rimmed cartridges) fading into the sunset.
Oh, and I wanted to...
My Dad had a Super Red Hawk that he bought used that had a canted barrel. We didn't notice it until he had it a few months. Sent it back to Ruger and they sent him a brand new gun in return. Free S/H both ways. Hopefully S&W treats you the same.
No direct knowledge, but if you want more rounds a Surefire 60 round mag for a regular 5.56 AR would be my choice over the 5.7x28. Magpul 40 rounds mags get you closer to 50 on the cheap.
I am not mentioning the various drum magazines on purpose as I think they are silly (even though I...
S&W 617. At least that is what I am planning on. A nice old model 17 would be great too but I like the stainless finish for durability so I don't have to feel bad carrying it around.
Rare or medium rare only. Why would you say it needs to be cooked well done? Well done white tail tastes like liver due to the higher amount of blood in the muscle.
