gunfan,
Not trying to be an arse, but actually the 10mm didn't come from the FBI in any fashion. It was partly the Brainchild of Col. Jeff Cooper and was developed during the early 80's, and debuted in the Bren Ten in 1983. It wasn't until after exstensive trials that the FBI adopted a 10mm...
What I would like to see:
1. Colt produce a 5" Series 70 stainless GM in 10mm in the style of the XS Series sans the front cocking serrations.
2. CZ to produce a Bren Ten copy in 10mm.
3. Springfield Armory to offer their entire TRP line in 10mm.
4. Smith & Wesson bring back the 3"...
A few years back I owned a fullsize, all steel UZI Eagle in .40 (same gun) and it was the most accurate .40 I ever owned or shot, and I've shot quite a few. It would group as well with the right ammo as my Kimber Classic Stainless LE or my Custom Colt GCNM. It fed everything and handled the...
I've got a Bersa Series 95 that I've had for a couple of years now, and it's been nothing but flawless and accurate. I too only paid $209 for mine, and IMO, they are the best .380 out there.
Well, I will say this, If you went to any of the Teams, be they Delta, Seals, Army SF, or what have you and ask a group of them what they would want instead of what it is they might be issued........you can pretty much bet the general consensus wouldn't specify a 9mm!
I myself personally...
Dean,
It was just a list I found on line. As it came from a pro-second amendment groups website I figured it should be mostly correct. As I'm only familiar with almost half the names on the list, if one got by then I apologize. I'll make the correction.
Although the drama display was...

Chip McCormick 8rnd. and 10rnd. PowerMags are my choice. As carry mags, that's all I use. They've worked flawlessly in my 3 Colts, 2 Springers, and my Kimber.

I'll put a third in here, Mr. Camp's reviews/range reports are leeps and bounds ahead of any gunrag. And with Stephen, you can be sure he won't pull his punches................you'll get an honest review of whatever piece he's shooting.

When I head to the range, the gun I'm wearing doesn't get shot (carry gun). Neither does the spare ammo for it I carry. If my carry gun is to be shot, I carry something else. What ever is on my hip at the time does not get shot.

My main carry is a Colt Combat Commander, but I have been known to, on occassion, carry my Glock M20 10mm. Usually during the heavy winter months (Dec.-Jan.) under a bulky jacket in a Fobus paddle. If there is a fullsize FAT gun, then the Glock M20 is it!
I'm usually past a trio. Had a Mil-Spec but did it up a bit. Have two Combat Commanders and one Champion, and two other 5"er's. All .45's and all single stacks (although I want to add a 10mm and a .38 Super to the list). I never could grasp the "9mm in a 1911" thing........to me chambering a...
When weather permits the proper attire, I do carry a BUG, and have two that I switch between.
Taurus M85 UL Ti in .38 Special.
Bersa Series 95 in .380.
Either are usually carried in a jacket pocket.
