So I have Sig 1911-22. I was tinkering with the internals trying to clean up the trigger since the gun supposedly has 80% true 1911 parts. I throw the BS flag on that one cuz I have been completely unsuccessful putting any wilson parts in it.
Anyways, ever since I removed and reinstalled...
so I picked up the Sig Sauer (gsg) 1911-22 last week just for ****s and giggles. Right away i replaced the main spring housing/ main spring with a kimber flat mainspring housing to help clean up the god awful trigger pull. Unfortunately the housing did not fit correctly and became lodged in the...
so I took my Kimber Eclipse 5" out to the range finally for the first time in a few month. Had the weirdest thing happen to me.
My slide catch was engaging at least once if not twice per mag with bullets still left.
Gun was cleaned and lubed, Was using Wilson Combat ETM mags. Was shooting...
so i'm about ready to buy my first ak47. was thinking about this one

i would like to get something Russian because it will hold its value down the line in case i have to sell it. does anyone have any experience with this gun and do yall...
Because for what I paid I pretty much stole it. Budsgunshop.com had a used Beretta silver pigeon S 12 ga 28" barrel for 1300 shipped last Thursday morning. I did have to break down and pay for their VIP service for 25 bucks but for a gun like this I couldn't resist.
Got to my ffl in 2 days as...
just wondering how many times i can reload 45lc brass
my old lady got me a ruger vaquero in stainless along with rcbs carbide dies, shell holder, and lee carbide crimping die. been saving my brass for a while now because i have a judge
from what i've read here that imperial case sizing wax is one of the best case lube products.
can i use it for lubing the inside of the neck or should i use the imperial dry neck lube for that so i dont contaminate the powder?
so i'm reloading 308 for an m1a
just wondering if there is a performance difference between bullets with a cannelure on them and those that are smooth. also do i need to crimp either style of bullets?
as the title says i'm looking into getting a case trimmer. looking between the rcbs manual one and their electric 110 volt trimmer.
just wondering if the extra 200 bucks is worth it to go electric and how much time you save going electric
so i'm finally ready to start reloading 308 for my m1a loaded
looking through the rcbs dies there are several to choose from and i've narrowed them down to:
regular dies w/ small base
AR dies w/ small base
X dies w/ small base
the AR dies have a taper crimp where as the other two have...
so i have a bass pro brand gun safe made by browning and i cant find extra shelves anywhere online. I'm a pistol nut primarily so extra shelves are a must. i'm not exactly a handy man so building/ carpeting homemade shelves are out of the question.
any ideas where i could order some?
found this little gem on gunbroker for 600 shipped. haven't been made in 5-6 years. this one was built during the clinton ban. has HPD engraved on it and comes with 2 LEO ONLY mags
so i've been researching the dillon progressive presses. looking at their pistol carbide dies it comes with only a size/deprime die, seater die, and a crimping die
why isnt there a mouth flaring die or is it incorporated into the caliber conversion plate or something?
went to the range the other day with my new loads for 45 auto. was using imr 4756 with ranier 230 gr fmjs. cant remember my powder load (its written down in my log at home). they were bunny fart loads
when i got done i noticed i had quite a bit of the unburned powder on my arms.
how bad of...
well i'm finally at that stage of reloading when i think i'm ready to upgrade to a progressive press. i load nothing but cheap practice rounds for my pistols so its stupid not to upgrade. i have a rock chucker supreme currently
has anyone ever used the rcbs piggy back upgrade for their rock...
so i've been trying to put an extended beavertail grip safety on my colt delta elite 10mm with no luck for a drop in. i dont have confidence in my dremeling skills to custom fit one. anyone had an experience with putting a beaver tail on a delta elite?
so i'm reasonably new to reloading. i've been spraying down all my dies and various reloading tool with the hornady solvent/ dry lube in one can.
we finally got our first day of real rain the other day. i go out to the garage for something and notice i have surface rust on my dies, the handle...
title is self explanatory.
i was just wondering because on progressive presses they aren't cleaned. i'm just making cheap practice handgun ammo on a single stage
so my buddy and i were sitting out in the field waiting for dawn for the doves and we started talking about the zombie apocalypse and the effectiveness of shotguns. and we are talking about slow staggering zombies, not those running ones (fat guys get eaten first)
of course buckshot and slugs...
