Do I really need to get an AR-15? I have an SKS and that runs good. In light of potential Obama bans and SHTF possibilities is the SKS good enough or does is the AR-15 a better choice? I look forward to your replies.

I'm helping a friend clean up an old Marlin Mod 35A bolt action .22. We cannot figure out how to dissasemble the bolt to give it a good cleaning. We' like to take out the firing pin, spring, extractors, etc. Any ideas?

We always see pictures of handguns that never look like they have been carried let alone shot. Ya know showroom new. I'd like to see a pic thread of guns that have been carried many-a-mile, or shot the heck outta. Sumthin' with charachter. Bring on the holster wear!

I look at guns, they, in most cases, are simple machines made of metal, polymer, etc, etc. Then I look at the 2nd Amendment. It is very clear what it means. What I cant understand is what the anti's are wanting to do by banning guns. Does it stop at guns?

I can recall seeing numerous "torture tests" on line, etc that are done on Glocks. Has anyone seen anything done on an SKS? I'd be curious to see somethong like that because so many people refer to the SKS's as being one tough gun.
