.17 WSM rifles?

Are there any rifles chambered in the .17 WSM other than the Savage Bmag?

I could be wrong but that cartridge might be a dead man walking. Between the ammo shortages and the Pandemonium not sure I would invest in such a rifle. The .17 HMR is here for a while yet, plenty of ammo for it.

Ruger did the 77/17 in wsm, seen a 1885 one time to, there's some semi custom guns made. But I'd recommend to stay clear, Winchester of recent doesn't have the best rep for cartridge support. Go hmr or need more get a hornet. The bmag is probably one of the worst rifles I've had in my hands and that a low bar.

hornady at least loads the WSM, I wasnt aware of any guns besides the B-mag so thats cool!

friend of mine has a heavy barrel Bmag, and its clunky and kinda ugly, but very accurate and hell on critter brains out past 100yds.

I like the .17 HMR and have taken several varmints with it, including a couple of Eastern coyotes on the fields down back...one was over 200 yards and running full-tilt away from me. It was dead when it hit the ground.

For the money I have in my Bmag, and what it does downrange, I’m content. I did replace the bolt handle, and mine is in a Boyd’s stock, but it does what I want, and I only have ~$300 into it.

But the 17 HMR isn’t a WSM. The gap in performance between the HMR is effectively the same gap as that between a 308win and a 300 PRC. I enjoy the Hummer, but the Wizzum is a lot more rifle. The Wizzum still isn’t on par with centerfires, but it does better bridge the center of the gap between the 22LR and the 223rem. There ARE shots on game I wouldn’t take with a 17 HMR which I wouldn’t think about twice with the WSM.

Yes, mine is a Bmag heavy barrel in a Boyd’s stock. I like it, just wondering what else was manufactured for the cartridge. I like how I can stay on the stock and cycle the bolt with a thumb. We have two of them, actually. Here’s Bianca cleaning hers.

oh hey any of you Bmagers want a Glades bolt handle? I bought my buddy one, and ordered 2....I did steal the knob from it tho....Actually I might have a spare christensen knob....
