The grips and the gun seem to be meant for each other.
and with the arrival of the "other" 45, i.e., gl**k 21, the Combat Commander is shedding it's really nice Pachmayr wraparounds and the DDs are going back on. I have my eye on some beautiful variations - much like yours Grant. Or maybe all of them... They're like women, all beautiful in their own way... and they don't neuter you and take everything you own...
My Kimber Custom II that I bought several months ago came with the black rubber grips. They are now sporting checkered rosewood double diamonds. They look fantastic on this gun. I took a pic, but can't find the cable to put the pics on here. Once I do I will post them.
