I know that you specifically asked for clays, I have no experience with that. I do, however, have experience loading with 700x, AA#2, and Bullseye. My accuracy loads were 5.9gr of AA#2, 5.0gr of Bullseye, and 4.6gr of 700x. I should mention that my AA#2 load is .1gr over Accurates currnet published max and the Bullseye load is .2gr over max. As far as the bullseye goes, the bullet listed by Alliant is a speer swaged bullet, with hardcast I have found no problems and got the cleanest and most accurate load there. With the AA#2, same thing, cleanest burning and most accurate is .1gr over max. The pressure of this max load according to the manual is 17.xK range, so I am pretty sure that the load does not exceed max for the 45acp cartridge. To follow the rules: Some of the load data above exceeds current maximum load manual data. Load at your own risk and of course work up all loads watching for signs of excessive pressure.
