I shot a nice doe at a measured 209 yards, and she died right there with a neck shot, 55gn soft point from an NEF single shot. Nice trip, all told. Saw lots and lots of deer, but only one tag.

Thanks! I really liked having a rangefinder with me. Helped a lot with the shot. I have a 2.5X scope on the little rifle, and it shots pretty flat out to about 300yds. My brother shot a BIG doe (210 pounds) with the same rig last year. This time he used a .250 Savage to kill his deer at about 140yds.
