Report her to the store manager. If she remains there still, call corporate and let them know what's up.
I didn't mention the employee's name for a loooooong time - figured it would give them time to clean up their act, and I don't want to see anyone fired.
BUT
After the 3rd time, whenever I talked to the manger I'm immediately referred to said employee - I tell them "well, your employee is the problem".
BTW - the 3rd time I caught them, a former co-worker had just asked her about 22 ammo, and was told they were out. We were standing at the end of the aisle when I spotted one of the "insiders" from across the store making a beeline towards the sporting goods department.
Figuring something was up, I gave him a second to pass by us and check the counter, then followed him to the counter - the employee was selling him 22, which they had just told my friend they had no more of.

Waddya gonna do...?

Basic, see post # 449. Don't let her blow you off, man. Climb the corporate ladder. It's not right , what she's doing, and unethical (possibly illegal).

Did that a long time ago. As some in here have often asked, "what's my time worth"?

Actually, it takes very little time to find 22 now that I've learned how the game is played, and who the players are.
Trying to whip employees / managers / corporate into following their stated policy is / has taken more time than I'm willing to invest, 'specially since I now have a decent sized stash.

Here's a thread I started (and got closed) detailing some of my experiences.

I have numerous posts in similar closed threads covering more / other details.

I'm going to pass the torch on to you! :D

Gee, thanks dude, :D I guess ?:uhoh:

Less stress and less guess.

Place it all on the main ONE . ><>

Gun Master... I agree that we should all fight the good fight at every reasonable opportunity but, to be honest, I'm all fought out.;)

I got home from the beach this weekend and had my 6k rounds of CCI mini mags and other assorted ammo I purchased from Cabela's two weeks ago.
I ordered three bricks of Rem Golden Bullets yesterday from Cabela's for a friend. I have more than enough "cheap" 22 but this guy asked me to get him some if I found it.

In the past 6 months or so I have now RECEIVED OVER 20K ROUNDS OF 22 AMMO with the vast majority coming from Cabela's.

I was able to buy 10 boxes of 17 HMR from my local WM last week which is the first I have seen locally in over a year.

Looks like things may be trending better.
Local gun shop now getting more 22 in than he has in a few months.
Local Walmart(s) 22 shipments seem to have dried up - gotten very spotty.

Go figure?

Lol for $60 a brick. Pretty sure lots of places have it for that price even if it is subsonic.

When bricks of of .22 come into my LGS if I really need some I'll bite the bullet and pick up a brick for $26 but even that I have a hard time paying.

Always good to let people know though, it might be worth it to some people.

Yeah for $60 they need more than just "tactical" .22 LR. Maybe "zombie-TAC" would work. Guess Midway has followed CTD's business model.

Federal 22 was $19 a bulk box at Walmart a few weeks ago and I still passed on it at that price.

Ridiculous. I can reload 9mm cheaper than I can shoot .22LR. I am contemplating a 9mm AR....In fact, now that I have a bunch of brass, I can load .223 for not much more. For me, .223 is the new .22!

I think we are looking at a new normal. The Walmarts here get little and these are gone quickly.Just wanted to help if anyone needs it. I ordered as I like to shoot 22 alot. These are accurate 22's.

Hey guys

Actually its a pretty good price AND ...drumroll...use this coupon code
NRASHOW2

You can get 10 dollars off. I did (found it on the web)

So $48.99 for 500 at that point is really not all that bad and I will order ANYTHING to avoid Wal-mart. I walked in once recently after swearing I never would (went 7 years). I will go another 7 or so now....LOL

Not for me. Even with the discount it's still 10 cents/rnd plus shipping. If it was better grade HV target ammo then yeah, maybe.:)

No it is Match ammo and on par with Wolf MT. It is also heavily lubed like most match ammo, maybe a little more so. You may not want to deal with it in semi-autos. It may not function at all. I get about .30 inch groups at 50 yards with it in my bull barreled Anschutz 54.

Unfortunately I am sure people are buying this for plinking and finding that it does not work well in their guns.

Much better grade than HV ammo. This is RWS match grade ammo. It seems to shoot better than SK Standard+. It is covered in lots of gooey lube which adds to the accuracy equation. If you have a really accurate bull barreled bolt gun, it is worth the price.

Forgive my ignorance and poorly-thought/premature post. Maybe that's a decent deal after all.:)

I'm sure my opinions are highly influenced by my lack of need for .22 LR or .22 WMR. Everything here is easily dispatch with a good .22 cal pellet rifle, .223 Rem with appropriate ammo, or .30-06. I just don't need anything else except a decent handgun and shotgun for self defense. I don't need to spend 10 cents/rnd to dispatch squirrels and moles when a pellet gun does just as well nor do I need a .22 LR or .22 WMR when a .223 Rem will dispatch coyote even better. But I'm not really a hunter so what do I know?:)
