In the 2017 issue of Hodgdon Annual Manual, there is an article about BLK CFE. The writer included a chart comparing the rifle (16") and pistol (7.5") loads. I'm going off memory, as I don't have the article with me.
He writes that for his AR pistol (unsuppressed) to function he had to bump he powder up a bit.
I'm going off memory, but he added .1 gr. of BLK CFE for pistol subsonic. The pistol chrony reading was only about 40 fps slower than the rifle reading. Supersonic had a much bigger spread.
Has anybody compared the the subs between the two barrels?
