For a SS model you might be a little low. $350-$400 might be a better range to expect.

When I was looking for a 4" GP100, there were few used ones out there and I ended up buying a new one as the difference in price was not that great.

Just saw a 4" GP100 ss that was in fair shape with a price of 350.00 on it. I looked at it and would not have bought it at 200.00. I think 400.00 is much more realistic. 3 inchers are much harder to come by than 4 inchers.

4" in SS full lug adj sight used in my area right now at $350, strangely no one has bought it yet. I sort of want it to keep my 6" non full lug ss company. I passed one in blue at $275 last year. I don't really like the way Ruger bluing looks is part of the reason I passed.

It's tax time and all the bills for xmas are coming due. Should be some smoking deals on firearms this time of year.
It's not unreasonable to assume you can find one for 300.

I was able to find my 4" SS GP100 on GB for $380. Slightly used, it may as well been new. Keep lookin', they're out there.

Paid $350 for my 4" SS GP100. Adjustable sight model. Price included an extra Hogue grip and a set of black laminate grip inserts in addition to the stock grip with rosewood inserts. That was several years ago. I've seen several in the same price range since. If I saw one in good shape for $300, I'd jump on it.

I just bought a new GP100 for $438. They are out there at that price if you look enough.

There were a bunch if 3" barrel GP100's imported from the Canadian police ~2002. They were selling for ~$300-350. You might still find a few floating around somewhere.

I got mine with only 12 rounds fired for $300...but that was from a friend who had to buy diapers for his new kid:uhoh:

I've seen quite a few good condition GPs selling for $350 at gun stores.
$300 would be tough, but just a little more and you'd be close.

There is a 4" fixed sight SS model at my local gun shop that I did a double take on when I saw it listed at $309. But then I saw it was .38 special only.

I bought my used 4" SS (with XS Big Dot Tritium front sight) from a user on another gun forum for $350....but when I add in the shipping and FFL fee it was $395

In the local gunshops they're $400 used....i couldn't find a 4" SS one locally so I had to find one online.

Brand new here they're like $460-490....I decided to save the money since the things are so reknowned for their longevity. The fact that the trigger would already be smoothed out and it had the night sight also added to my decision

I am looking for a GP 100 in SS 6" barrel, the cheapest I found in my area,
Gander Mnt. $599------gotta be a better deal then that.
Nothing used around here.
