I’ve declared this Saturday 32 ACP Day & have rounded up my small collection to take out to the range tomorrow & for some mouse gun fun.

Not shown is a Keltek P32 that will be joining a Beretta Tomcat & Cheetah, Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless, Erma 68a baby Luger, 1954 vintage Star, & 1945 Walther PP.
Along with breaking some clays with .410’s & trying out my first small batch of shotshell reloads it should be a great day & weather looks like it’s going to cooperate. Got a big tarp to hopefully make rounding up the brass a bit easier, those small ones can disappear on ya.

Nice collection. 32 ACP's are fun to shoot.

I guess you are out for some attitude adjustment shooting the .410 at clay targets.:)

But .410 is better than the old Mo-Skeet-O targets shooting them with bird shot in a Rutledge barreled 22 RF gun.

Mrs has started shooting clays with a .410 & I’ve joined in & enjoy the challenge, get good with a .410 & using a 12ga seems like cheating. I’m curious to see how my reloads compare to factory pattern & velocity. Every week her average is going up & she’s now a triple threat. Never tried to hit a clay with 22 birdshot, I have broke a few with my black powder 12ga pistol & blunderbuss but not with a lot of consistency.
I love 32’s & it’s been a while since I’ve had one out, Kel-Tec P32 was last one I shot & I was surprised how unpleasant it was to fire so I done some work shaping the trigger shoe I added so hopefully it’s a bit more comfortable, definitely the lightest of the bunch. The Star is very sweet mini 1911 style & the 105 year old Colt remains a classy as the day it was made.

Almost 30 years ago I went with my good friend to buy a pistol for his father for his birthday.

Turned out to be a PPK bring back in .32ACP from a WWII vet.

He had it a couple of years before it was stolen from his house.

A few years later, my friends father get a phone call from another state saying, they recovered his pistol and he can come pick it up at his convenience.

After his father picked it up the 3 of us took it out for a "range day to end all range days"!

My hand actually hurt from the amount of .32 we shot that day!

My take aways:
1- .32 ACP is pretty 'snappy' in a tiny pistol like his PPK.
2- it was way more accurate than I ever expected.
3- I would have problems picking up a .32 if the right 'deal' presented itself.

What an awesome .32 ACP collection you've got there! Love the Erma Luger, Star (SI Series?), Beretta Cheetah, and of course the Colt Model 1903 Hammerless!

So how did the late-war, blank slide Walther PP do?

Got out this morning, a lot more snow on the ground than I expected. Didn’t set up any paper & just stuck clay pidgins in the snow & put an old bedsheet out to catch brass. Went through 200 rounds & didn’t lose one in the snow! Even the Kel-Tek was pleasant to shoot now with a smoothed out trigger shoe. Mrs likes the Walther a lot & my .410 reloads worked great, couldn’t tell them apart from factory loads shooting them back to back.

I also like the .32 acp:

3032
a couple of 81 models, one was advertised as Italian LEO turn in,
Eibar Ruby pistol

Present time I only have three 32 autos. Beretta m81, Walter pp, and a Seecamp. While I'm not a particular fan of sig saur I would love to have one of their 32s that looked like a Walter.

Nice collection. Looks like a lot of fun. A few other .32 favorites of mine are the Sig P230, a beautiful classic. The CZ 83 was a very easy pistol to like except for the early mags that would allow rim lock. Had a real nice trigger though. Walther PP is such a nice gun. My personal unicorn is a HK P7 K in .32.

There are many truely great guns in .32. My ideal set up is that Sig P230 in a Galco Executive holster. Gun nut bliss!

May be my favorite caliber, the 32acp. The four 32’s pictured below were guns I had only heard of but over 8-10 years I was able to find them.
CZ83, Bersa or Firestorm, Beretta 81FS, and the last one is the Sig Sauer reportedly an over run of an order to police in Japan. Have others but these are sort of my prize collection. Of all that I have the Beretta 81BB gets the most range time.

Nice collection! I have a Beretta Tomcat and. Keltec p-32

The Beretta 81 deal was the best surplus deal in a loooong time. I got 2 and should have bought more. For a while it looked like they would be around forever. Covid fixed that. I'm amazed by the number of people who passed on them. I was working at the LGS then and only a few of us got one. Guys that thought nothing of spending thousands on an AR wouldn't pop for $199 for a Beretta. Go figure.

I wish that I would've purchased the Bersa and the CZ 83 in .32 when they were around. Had both in .380. Ended up with a Sig 232SL that took the place of both. The Thunder .22 was fun also.
