A) 357 maximum
B) 350 legend
Why did you pick A)/B)?

Neither are in the same class as the 35 Rem. Which is a great moderate recoil hunting round.
I have a contender pistol in 357 maximum and love it, but if the 350 legend had been available when I bought it I might have gone that route.
The ballistically more powerful than a 30-30 is marketing smoke and mirrors.Forgot to mention. A Winchester 147 gr range round can be had for $11.00 box of 20. The hunting round for a few dollars more. The Max has a tad more power but the Legend has better accuracy and balistically. it is more powerful than a 30-30 with less recoil and more accuracy. If I didn’t have a Grendal AR upper, a 6.5 Creedmoor Henry Long Ranger, and a Marlin 444P outfitter, I would be interested in buying a Legend bolt or AR upper.
Can you give us the load specs on that ?13" 357 max will push a 180 grain XTP to 2200
The 350 legend is actually a 9mm not the same as a 357.
Well, yes and no. The SAAMI specs call for a .355 groove diameter and a .346” bore diameter. This isn’t true, and you should know better by now.The 350 legend is actually a 9mm not the same as a 357.
