I've never had an issue with my Sigs, but then again, I've never had, and never plan to buy, any striker fired gun again.

Well, I'm no expert … I've only owned about 25 SIGs, including about 12 or so manufactured in the past ten or fifteen years … and I'd totally disagree with that. SIG is putting out some pistols now that are head and shoulders above competitive brands. And while I simply love (and still heavily use) my West German 226s and 228s, my recent production model Legions and M11s are far superior to the old guns in many ways.Sig is a company who used to be the best in the business, got sold and is riding on its name
Early morning (pre booze) range time sounds like a great start to a bachelor's party.I wasn't able to make it to the range yesterday. My oldest son is getting married at the end of this month, so it's been hectic. Maybe over the weekend or Monday evening.
Striker type pistols need more maintenance, my guess the only problem is a dirty channel.
Wanna bet lunch on that?I predict that the SIG P365 will eventually take its place along side of the Kimber SOLO. Remember those? I few years ago they were the hottest pistols on the planet. $1000+ price tag and a 12 month waiting list. These were so ammunition sensitive that you couldn’t rely on them. If you wanted to field strip a SOLO you better be prepared to bleed. Today they can’t sell a good used SOLO for less than half of its original price. Looks like the P365 is going to be a failure.......................

I hope SIG can turn it around before it goes belly up. I will stick with my S&W Shield, Glock G43 and Kahr CW9 and wait to see how the issues with the P365 are finally addressed.

I finally made it out to my gun club today with both of my P365's. I put 377 rounds through each of them (I kept track) without a failure. Per Sig, they also put 150 rounds through each gun after completing the repairs without a failure, so that's over 500 rounds through each. The State of Illinois is slow on processing CC renewals so I can't carry for I'm guessing another month, during which I'll put a couple of hundred more rounds of my carry ammo through each, but I should be good.
I know the feeling. Have been waiting for my 45 day period of renewal to come up this Wednesday. However, a warning from the clerk, to come back again if it does not. Not because I have broken any laws, (not even a parking ticket in over 20 years, but because the state is so --- up. I will have to go back and get a paper signed by the clerk that say's I can carry until the CCW comes in withing 90 more days. I am counting on another two hours of traveling down to the court house, trying to find a parking space and waiting in lines again. Not to mention time off for work. Just the way this state treats their citizens. And I do not think it is a coincidence that the New Democrat Gov, is not behind this. We never had a problem before under a Republican. It is getting worse.
By the way, congrats on the 365, glad to see it is coming along fine.
Thanks for following up on this with us! Good to hear that (so far, it looks like) SIG fixed the problems.I finally made it out to my gun club today with both of my P365's.
