Hey guys, A work friend just called me with a sale of of a supposed lifetime. He impulsively bought a Kalashnikov Variant last week for $450 & realized it served no practical use other than ego tripping boasting power. Well he is finally reaping the consequences from the impulse buy, as he has bills to pay & could of really used that money he blew on the AK.
So to make a long story short, he tried to sell it at a local gun shop but they only offered him $300. So he called me up today & asked if I wanted to buy it for $350 cash. So now I need some help from yall to decide if this rifle is worth buying.
The rifle is a Maadi MISR S/A chambered in 7.62x39 with a folding stock and has both pistol and a forearm grip. The gun stock is polymer not wood. He is also throwing in 3 30rd mags, 2 AK cleaning kits, and 100 rds of Wolf 7.62.
So now I ask my fellow THR members to help me decide if this a good deal or one that I should pass? I have absolutely no practical need for a Kalashnikov clone, as my 12 gauge pump & 30-30 can do everything it can if not better in my opinion. However I am always looking out for sweet deals and although I could care less on having a high cap semi-auto rifle, I also have yet to see one under $500 bucks!
