Vortex has a 100% American made optic i.e. every part is made and assembled in the US... this could be another blow to Leupold. I'm going to check out the AI booth tomorrow.

Does anyone else have any information on this, is it a binocular or riflescope? I have a set of Vortex Viper HD binoculars. It would be awesome if they started a product line of completely US made optics!

It's the RAZOR HD AMG 6-24x50mm FFP scope. It's on their website. Retail is around $3,400.

Vortex has been taking market share away from Leupold for the past five years. As an owner of numerous products from both companies, Vortex offers way better value for the money at virtually every price point. For example, compare a tactical FFP mil/mil illuminated reticle scope from both. The fact that Leupold doesn't offer a 100% US made scope is a big deal. Now add in repeatable adjustments that Leupold struggles to achieve in almost all of their models and it looks even worse for them.

Brethren Armament has an AR trigger for all Roller Lock HK style guns.
SilencerCo has refined their Maxim 9 suppressed pistol.
Grey Ghost Gear released their full line of Mega Lower based ARs.

After viewing the gunblast.com videos of the show, I am seriously underwhelmed. Especially about the "revolutionary" Kimber revolver. The only thing which grabbed my attention was the Smith Victory .22 semi-auto, which seems to have an action which just might be as good as the Ruger Mark's. Oh, excuse me, but also the silencer from Ruger.

I'd be interested in a Keltec RDB or even an RDB-C if I could get my hands on one. The Smith and Wesson Victory will be neat too. I think this SHOT Show was just a little better than last year's overall.

I read the Kimber revolver is from Manurhin, France. Cannot verify though.

They make top revolvers, but if true, surprised Kimber is just relabeling.

If the K6s is from France you must be from Mars! It was designed in Yonkers and it's made in Yonkers ... no ifs, ands or buts! :banghead:

The Korth pistol has been out for 3 or 4 years, they must have just started marketing. It is a really cool design, I don't know if they are still offering it, but they had direct replacement for the slide and barrel on a 1911. It uses a fixed barrel for better accuracy and has an action very similar to a couple HK pistols, very accurate, extremely reliable, and takes half the effort to cock.
