To make .35 B-W cases, I load a .30-06 case with several grains of Bullseye, add a quarter sheet of toilet paper to keep the powder in place, chamber it and fire.
Now THAT'S pretty old school!

I can do it because Bigfoot Wallace, my rifle, is a customized Springfield. The case is captured by the extractor as it leaves the magazine, and held against the bolt face while I fire it.Now THAT'S pretty old school!
That would be like having a .17-06, virtually all but useless................I have an idea for one but making the round and something to shoot it would cost a boat load of money. Also trying to figure out a safe load for it a pain in the rear. It would be a 7.62x76.2R and the case width at the base would be 15.24 mm but it would probably be easier to keep the original case width which is 15.75mm. You start with a 600 NE and neck it down to a 308 If the case need trimming after necking it down trim it to 76.2mm and load it with a 240 grain solid boat tail bullet. Would be a guide gun for one shot kills on dangerous game.
