Anybody knowagable about Lyman receiver sights

Just won a Winchester model 52. Looks like it has a Lyman receiver sights that is missing the vertical slide.

Are those parts interchangeable from say a 57 to a 48

I am familiar, but not knowledgeable. I can't see Lyman having different dovetails for their slides, but the markings may be different, in which case it would be the height of the front sight. Or, like me just ignore the slide markings as a reference and let the target tell you the settings.

I would contact Lyman. Since they make them they should have the correct answer to your question.

Unfortunately they no longer list the 48 receiver sights

When I was in college I shot with a pre war while on the varsity rifle team. Always shot much better than I ever could.

When I went overseas in 73 kinda lost track of who was keeping it for me.
