Without the tactical block on the front of it, the CZ SP01 tips the scales at 41 ozs. It's big, bulky, and heavy. Aside from a Desert Eagle, it'd be hard to imagine a pistol
less ideally suited for CCW. I bought mine exclusively for range work, a role at which, IMO, this gun will excell. If I want to CCW something with an equivalent capacity, I'll go with my either my M&P 9mm, FNP9, or G17. Either of those seem to weigh less loaded than the SP01 does empty. Can it be CCW'ed? Absolutely. Suspenders would be the order of the day. Maybe a heavy duty shoulder holster.
I hear the Secret Service had a special heavy duty shoulder holster made for their Uzis.
I'm still getting the Tactical Block.
Nothing eggs me on like somebody telling me it's useless.
I learned a long time ago that just b/c a weapon or accessory doesn't fit my concepts of taste or usefulness, others shouldn't be denied it if they so desire it. If it's legal and you want it, go for it.
