Thanks. Hadn't heard of most of those. Buckey I'm familiar with. Never had any luck selling on there. Just posted an add on that OH Gun Owners site. We'll see how it does.

Yeah, not much going on there. The most recent for sale add in the long guns section was from two years ago. After quickly joining then looking around, it seems as though this site is pretty much dead activity wise. Not much going on there it seems.

Yeah, kind of. You could usually sneak key phrases in that would identify the item.I hate that. You have to be so cryptic that no one knows what you’re trying to sell. At least on Armslist I could call it a gun.
You can sign in to your account, browse the site and send messages to sellers but you can't post a for sale add without paying.
Maybe. I'm holding out hope that Armslist will see the error of their ways, if it's not a hack.Is it realistic to hold out hope that it is a hack and it will be fixed?
Automatic (or automated) Clearing House--basically "e checks" where you create a bank draft using the bank routing number and account number. Typically, single use.what is ACH?
Could be a big miscommunication between management and the Web developer. Is it realistic to hold out hope that it is a hack and it will be fixed?

Too bad about the whole backpage fiasco. Shutdown to punish criminals. Once again, punishing law abiding citizens from buying guns. Instead of going after specific criminals, they take down the whole thing in one lazy action.I have been using armslist for a couple of years. It is like craigslist for gun stuff and requires all the same precautions on my end and attracts all the same idiots on their end. If you're getting ripped off as a seller or a buyer perhaps it isn't your venue to buy and sell things.
You're less likely to find a local buyer though, which was the primary use for Armslist. I listed several things on here, and got almost zero action.3 pages and nobody has mentioned this site's Buy, Sell, Trade pages as an alternative to AL? I know it's a more limited audience than AL has but may be more likely to find a real buyer on here than all the low-ballers on AL. And it's free here too.
