Yep. Maybe one that doesn't look like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.If that safety location makes it to some other models I wouldn't be upset.
You realize Taurus was licensing/copying the Beretta of the time, right? They used to have frame mounted safeties.

If that safety made it to other models I’d at least consider getting one.
They have release many versions in the past. i.e. Steel, Combat, Biliennium, Centennial, etc. etc.
It's probably not my cup of tea, but considering all the features on this gun, and compared to all the other high end Beretta's that have circulated over the years, this one is certainly in the proper price ballpark. It’s not just the safety. It’s the steel frame and the other stuff. And that’s about the price-point of the other performance/competition oriented DA/SA guns these days.
Support hand index finger on the front of the trigger guard has been out of favor for at least 20 years.Interesting that they put an undercut in front of the trigger guard, but got rid of the hooked trigger guard. Woulda thought those two things would go hand-in-hand.

Does the frame mounted safety do away with the slide mounted safety/decocker?
