Black Friday: What did you get?

I was on call and worked all morning. Stopped at a gas station to fill up around noon and noticed a "Black Friday" banner hanging from the gun store in the same strip as the station so I wandered over after I had finished fueling. They had nothing of interest on sale for me (no CCI mini-mags......) but I did notice a mint condition 1891 Argentine Mauser rifle with a primo bayonet on the rack and after a few minutes of dealing was a happy camper. These guys had a very nice K-31 with a factory scope a year ago that I scored. Some collector is very slowly selling his collection through their store on consignment and so far I have been lucky....
 
New Mini and assorted goodies

I went to Walmart Friday morning and waited for the 8 am start to the 20% off firearms sale. Only one guy in front of me and one behind me. Picked up a Mini 14 for $580.00. Also me and the wife each got our one box of 100 round CCI standard velocity 22lr. Went back Saturday and got 2 more, and again Sunday. So scored 600 rounds this weekend. Restocked what we shot up last weekend.

Saturday I got a sling and a scope for the Mini.

Sunday online I got a case for the Mini, six 30 round mags for the Mini, a bikini scope cover, and a couple of sleeve cases for the lever actions. All on sale and free shipping.

All and all I think I did pretty good. :)
 
Nothing.

I did get a few nice articles of outdoor apparel at Columbia though. I will probably end up wearing most if not all of them to the range/shooting events in the next year (rain jacket, rain pants, long sleeve collared lightweight shirt for sun protection)
 
despite looking high an low there wasn't much I wanted on sale, most of everything I saw was a bunch of ar15 stuff.

I did tho end up buying afew +6 extensions for g17 mags. 10% off

also bought a huge 9oz funnel type SJC magwell for my g34
 
Stayed home and let others fight for cheap import stuff.

Quality time with the family and when it got to be a little much on day three some peach brandy. For medicinal purposes only of course.:)

One of the consumer tracking sites is reporting BF sales down from last years dismal numbers by 11% and internet by 10.2%. Middle class is slipping lower.
 
Nothing on Friday. On Saturday I got 600 Hornady 158gr lhp .357 bullets and a lb of IMR-3031. Had a very nice Chinese lunch with my 84 y.o. mom on Friday.
 
Nothing Friday except a s&w pocket knife for 9.99 and gun cleaning supplies. Saturday I got 200 rounds if monarch 7.62x39 fmj from academy sports at 4.50 a biz with free shipping. This morning cyber Monday I got 200 rounds of Herters 7.62x39 fmj from cabellas for 4.37 a box with free shipping.

I purchased a new Hoppes BoreSnake Viper .45acp for my Glock 21 gen 04.
It was a toss up between the new Otis Ripcord & a Viper BoreSnake. The $ difference was only $4.00 so I got the better deal on the Hoppes BoreSnake Viper.
I also got a lead/carbon wipe(cloth) & a new grey cleaning mat. Those are handy for post range cleaning/service. ;)

I also wanted to get a Buffalo Bills coffee mug but they were no longer on the Bills main website. :(

Got a Kahr cw380 for pocket carry and a Benchmade Barrage. My wife, um I mean Santa, did a great job this year.
 
Cabelas had a deal on a Nikon Prostaff rimfire w/333 rds of 22 LR for 99 clams, so I picked that up for my 10/22. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
 
I picked up a nice gun safe for a great deal, and was back home by 6:40 am.

I've heard numerous horror stories about Black Friday, but my experience was pretty much painless...
 
Didn't plan on getting anything.

But, believe it or not, I was in NYC visiting family for T-giving, and was talked into accompanying the crew to some stores right in the middle of Manhattan on 5th Avenue. Never thought I'd ever be caught up in a Black Friday like that, but it was less crowded than the malls here at home, to my surprise.

Ended up getting a nice lightweight down jacket at 1/2 price with no sales tax. I'll wear it to the range on chilly days. :)

Technically, more spread out throughout the week, but I ordered a Keepers Concealment holster for my M&P shield, a new BJJ Gi, and a new sheath for my Kabar TDI then spent some time dry firing and doing holding drills.

Thanks man! Most people just accuse me of being crazy, so it's nice to be appreciated.... Also, day after Black Friday, I ended up getting a pull up bar, the kind that mounts over a doorway. Been incorporating that into my dry fire.
 
Picked up a H&R Pardner Pump Protector 12ga shotgun. I've been looking for a HD shotgun I don't have to worry about. I've been using my blue/walnut 870 Wingmaster and don't want to scratch it all up. I looked around at all the standard models and read a ton of reviews and the Pardner really came out as a top quality sleeper. My son and I put around 50-60 mixed(00, shot, slugs) rounds through it Sunday. I have to say I'm very impressed. Best thing it was a Saturday Day Special. 179.00. I love it. I should have bought 2. Maybe if they have another special.
 
Late Thusday night/Friday morning, I went to Walmart and the mall. Dick's had Maverick basic riot guns for $179, but the kid behind the counter said they would drop them to $139 on Sunday due to overstock. Went back on Sunday, what do you know, they were up to $199. I can wait...
 
I was going to get the Maverick 88 18" special at Dicks but there was a surprising amount of bad revues on them. Then I found the Pardner, a 870 clone. Take a look at one and handle it. You may change your mind. I think they are 199.00 at Gander this week. I'm tempted.......
