Doing a bit of research on the numbers presented on that poster skinnyguy. They seem very strange (no suprise, I know, but thought I would point it out):
The New Zealand statistic states 5 people murdered by guns (whatever that means) for the year 2004. According to the New Zealand police website, there were 86 homicides in New Zealand that year:http://www.police.govt.nz/service/statistics/2004/calendar/stats-national-20041231.pdf
Various sources (wikipedia and http://guncontrol.org.nz/) pin down the percentage of homicides committed with a firearm to be around 13-15%. Doing simple math, that ought to mean that between eleven and thirteen homicides were committed with firearms in New Zealand in the year 2004.
Mightn't the Bradys be cooking their numbers a bit?
One is total gun deaths in the US (usually around 30,000 yearly), the other is murders by "Brady Methodology," which, if it's as screwed up as the numbers for New Zealand, is something like total gun deaths minus the number of hairs on Robert Mugabe's toes multiplied by the ratio of vowels to syllables in the American National Anthem when it's sung in Malagasy by drunken lumberjacks.

I also noticed that the brady's math is fubar as well. In the info posted on their upside-down flag on the revolver poster, I came up with these numbers;
11,344 (people killed) ÷ 366 (days-leap year)= 30.99 people per day
OR
from the text concerning 80 people per day from http://"http://www.bradycenter.org/s...ter.org/stop2/
80 (people killed) X 366 (still leap year)= 29,280
those numbers aren't even in the same zip code.
