Building from Savage

So, I really want to build up a Savage, since I can't seem to find the configuration I want.

Basically, can I get a receiver long and large enough to handle the .300 Remington Ultra Magnum? If so, how hard would it be to build it up to a full rifle?

Their models 116FSAK, 110GXP3 and 111FXP4 come in .300 RUM so you can either build one or just buy one. Buying one would be a whole bunch cheaper, but not as satifying as building your own.
Any long action with a medium contour barrel should do nicely though. The downside is that Savage only sells their 'Target Actions' as just receivers. (Cheap they ain't either.) You'd be looking at buying a rifle just for the action.

They don't list .300 RUM in the catalog for 2008. Did I miss something?
