I bought it, I like used guns because someone already broke it in.

What’s your thought on 9mm 1911??

Don’t know much about the brand but it’s a SOLID feeling gun, rail to frame was tight, barrel locked tight, triggers is AMAZING for a cheap gun.

it’s going to be a 100% shooter, and beater gun

$700-ish… not a great deal but looks very new

It has the right magazine for reliable feeding (Mec-Gar 10 rnd MGCGOV910AFC). Here's a LINK to my evaluation of them.

I worked on a BUL a while ago. Great trigger out of the box. A couple of little things that had to be tweaked. Check the bull barrel to slide fit. It was a little sloppy on the one I worked on. Since the slide had the cut needed for a conventional barrel bushing I considered replacing the barrel but the owner isn't a good enough shot to justify the cost.

Great buy, they are going for $850 new so as long as it is in good shape that's awesome. I love 9mm 1911/2011s. BUL is a great quality gun manufactured in Israel and imported. Lots of great reviews out on them, I have not seen a negative one yet. Here is my Bul 2011 which is my new favorite 9mm to shoot. I love buying US made, but have no problem buying a forgiven brand when they are producing high quality guns for a heck of a lot cheaper than in the states.

Good purchase! My inexpensive 9mm 1911 that I bought used is one of my most frequently shot range pistols. I think it's a great caliber and pistol combination.

I like the 1911 in 45acp and 40 S&W also, but it sure is cheaper to shoot 9mm lately.

I love all 1911’s - Cheap, Expensive, Mid!

I wish HiPoint would make one!

But this is my 1st full metal single stack 9mm! Ready to wear out the barrel

Don't know if I should reply to your post but I'll give it a try. I know nothing about your particular gun except it certainly looks good and I love shooting 9mm in 1911's. I can't really tell in the photos but those grips might be a little chewy on my tender ol' hands although they do complement the overall look.

Give it a good range workout and report back on how it shoots.

Hi Point does make a 9mill although it is NOTHING like a 1911. Shooting the same cheap FMJ off the same rest, one following on the heels of the other, guess which turned in the smallest groups, my 1911 or my gift Hi Point C-9.

100% I’m going to run this 9mm 1911 with every thing I can throw at it!!!

I’m finally able to get to the range 1-2x a week! I want to do a comparison between dirt cheap 1911 vs high end 1911’s (no we not talking about your hand crafted by angels 1911’s that cost $89,000… 😂)

I also like 1911's a lot. My used Ronin 5" shoots like a dream, less recoil, and seems a bit lighter even with the 9 and ten round mag. I bought mine at the LGS a year ago for $720 OTD. found out it was one year old ( called SA) Really like the fiber optic sight too. Might buy another with the shorter barrel for EDC in stainless. I just turned 86 and the .45 is getting a little snappy for me and the 9's spring is a lot lighter compared to the PT 1911 in .45ACP

Not for me, especially for EDC. When i sold my two shovelhead's last year my buddies said to buy a trike. Not this buckeroo. 66 years in the saddle was good enough for me

Just 66 years? Slacker!

Seriously, good for you! I’m in my 59th year of riding.

OP, good luck with your new gun!

BUL is definitely one of the better entry-level 1911s in terms of build quality. They're known for their double-stack competition 2011s in the European circuit, but relatively unknown in the States.

that’s the thing after learning how to properly shoot is: Nice guns are good, but a $800 gun might just do as good as a $3,000 STi. I’m all about training now! A gun is a gun, at this moment
