Everytime I go to walmart, I go to the ammo cabinet and see if they happen to have anything good in stock. Well tonight, I hit the jackpot. They had two boxes of 100 round remington .357 magnum. They also had about seven boxes of 38 spcl+p but I could only afford the 357. So, I got both boxes. I bet they just put those on the shelf tonight, too.
Anyways, to get to my point here, whether it's 38 spcl, .357 magnum, or .22 LR, they alway ask when at the checkout, is this for a handgun? I refuse to answer anymore. It's none of their business what it's for. I know it's not the ladies at the register, but it's none of Walmarts business what i'm using the products I buy, for.
When I buy tissue, they don't ask of I'm going to wipe my butt or blow my nose. When I buy oil, they don't ask if it's for a car or a truck. I'm not obligated by law to answer their questions, but the computer will not complete the transaction until an answer is given.
I just simply say, I'm sorry, I will not answer that question. The checkout people are always just freaked out.
Anyways, just wanted to get that off my chest. I suggest everyone refuse to answer that. I do not want to participate in some Walmart anti-gun statistics or whatever they use that information for. It's all part of some survey for some agenda.
Anyways, just had to vent.
