Can’t build one this cheap…BCA sale holy smokes

BCA has always had good prices on something... Plus they've always shipped quickly to me... I've purchased at least one of every caliber they sell over the last 5 years (some more than one)... and have never been disappointed... Now is the "fit n finish" as good as my son's DD... No... But in my experience they function... Are accurate and are generally much less expensive than DD (and many others)... I'm not associated with them... Just a satisfied customer... Now I am poor and older than most so there's that... ;)

I'm getting "triggered". All kinds of new stuff that we subjects in the PSROL can't have, at least now. (Private d's Socialist Republic of Illinois).

Though the deals are good, I shouldn’t be surprised they are all in cartridges I either have aplenty or no interest in. Even the good prices can’t lure me into 300 Blackout.

Hooefully the sales in 458 Socom or 50 Beowulf are around the corner.

I live in a free state. Have for years.

Think there’s a stipulation on using the brace rule for a “free stamp” like previously owning the firearm before applying but I could be wrong….
Of course you'd have to own the firearm before you apply for a stamp. You are correct.

I purchased a 450 bushmaster upper from them. It shot minute of 3’. They swapped it out immediately. I tore the next one down and blueprinted the received face and glued the barrel in properly.

it shoots great now, aside from the recoil.

they had very good customer service.

Yep, to take advantage of the ever so generous ATF offer of a free stamp and the chance to put your name on their registry you had to own the pistol before the rule dropped. If you buy one now you just have to go the old SBR route and pay $200 to have your name placed on that federal registry and regulations put on your build.

From your link

"Bear Creek issued the following statement:

Today there were several employees who were detained by law enforcement. This is the result of an investigation conducted by Homeland Security into employment that was obtained by either ID theft or fraudulent information.

The company said that Homeland Security confirmed Bear Creek's Human Resource Department "complied with all laws, rules and regulations" in their hiring practices."

I've had a BCA 6.5Grendel upper for years, bought it for $240 w/bcg back when a PSA upper in same caliber was $280.
It shoots as well as my PSA 12" 6.5G and the BCA fit n finish is as good as PSA.
Based on what I've read PSA quality control is better but BCA seems to fix their issues 90% of the time so if you've got the patience, it's a gamble that could win big.

I have purchased several of there uppers& barrels no complaints. The price was right and they shot as advertised.I would recommend them.

Buy it for $350, and get a free tax stamp to turn it into a SBR. All inclusive SBR for around $400 or so ain't bad.
It's bufferless making it a pistol not an SBR unless the purchaser puts a brace on it.

I’m trying to figure that one out. It’s gotta be a short blowback action or something for it to fit in that size action.
I've been looking for a diagram without any luck so far. I know it uses a closed bolt (low mass) and the piston is on top of the mono-block pistol receiver.
I have the UTAS UT9 Mini:

Note the location of the charging handle.
