Do you have a whole batch of bullets with pink on the bottom or just the two in the pic? Again, what brand and where from? Do you have any previous bullets from the same source to compare?
Definitely look like plated bullets, OP give us a brand please. My guess is that is a mess up from the plating process. Would NOT load them until you find out.
When the copper alloy gets chemically altered by the introduction of a foreign substance (typically an acid), the exterior color of the metal changes. This is only a surface phenomena and the metal is not altered, weakened, or otherwise hurt. You can prove this to yourself by applying a tiny bit of copper/brass polish to one of your pink bullets.
For instance the rinse water from local sources could have a mineral in it that, if left on the bullet to dry, could do this. It's a non-issue.
I also work on antique clocks. You can see the same "pinkish/reddish trace" in the center of this brass clock bob. At some point someone had a foreign substance on their thumb (salty perspiration ?), touched the brass, and the brass got dis-colored in that one region. It was thoroughly removed with 5 seconds of brass polish.
It is the Streak "tracer" round. They have been offered at American Reloading for some time in bulk. The link below is for the .45 cal FMJ (and they are out-of-stock, before someone chimes in)
I don't know the brand, I have several of them which came in an order of mixed pulled bullets from American reloading. Yes it is plated. I suspect it's some kind of tracer round. The pink area is rounded and solid. It does not rub off.
