I will make a video for pistol brass to show you guys how it works. Its snowing and freezing here so my garage time has been limited but this weekend should warm up enough for me to get in there!
Thanks,
Dom

You're going to let a little cold weather hold you back from sharing vital info with your reloading community?!

You know I went and bought a space heater for exactly this purpose unfortunately it keeps tripping the damn breaker! I promise once I get work out of my way this week I will make a video for everyone showing pistol case trimming with the LE wilson! Im such a sissy!

With weather like this, I can't blame you. Looking forward to the video.

No, you just slide it in, no more than finger pressure is needed.

I'm confused- I may be looking at an entirely different product. One pistol case holder uses a cross-pin to apparently wedge the case in place and the other case holder appears to be designed to be used with an arbor press (per Brownells, "You will need the 749-001-608 arbor press base for the Wilson neck die."). Are you talking about the former needing only finger pressure? I didn't even know about the one with the cross pin until after reading your reply and I went to go link the item I was talking about. The trimmer looks more stout than the Forester- that true or just appears that way?

I'm curious because I have the Forester but have always liked the LE Wilson and if they're more or less the same, then there are some add'l attachments I'd like to get for the Forester. If the LE Wilson is significantly superior- I think I'd change sides.

No prob- I'm interested because I too trim my revolver brass (38, 357, 44) for roll crimping. I do it just once, but I like the uniformity of the crimps. The Forester works nice, but the mandrel is a tight fit on resized brass. Curious about the alternatives. I've tried Lee's trimmer, and I like it, but for the volume I'm trying to get trimmed it'll leave me with blisters on my hand.

Polish the mandrel down a bit. I have trimmed a lot of brass on my RCBS and Forster hand trimmers.Made my own for the RCBS trimmer .357 because the factory one was too tight.

The case holder that holds the brass case, which are sold separately, is not stainless steel. Not cheap is right!!
