Hey guys, first and foremost sorry I had to post a new thread on this, I'm sure that this horse has been beaten, battered, and bruised. I have been in the market for a new ccw. I came acrossed the M&P 45c and was able to fire the dang thing. I loved it. the feel was great, recoil was nice, and the sights just lined up. I have decided on the .45 because, well, I've always wanted one. However, the price of ammo is rather frightful, and it will be awhile before I aquire the equipment to reload for .45. I have looked at 9mm and the price is low. Why should I choose .45 over 9mm? I have an xd 40 but don't care for the snap of the recoil, recently shot the .45 and prefer it to my 40, but haven't really fired a 9mm for a couple of years. So is there an advantage of getting .45 over 9mm? Other than my thirst will be quenched? It seems like most posters on here carry a 9mm. Help me out please, feel like banging my head against a wall over this.:banghead:
