If their website bothers you so much, just poke your finger twelve times on your telephone keypad (1-800-588-9500) and ask them to add you to their catalog mailing list.

They'll be happy to do that and you'll be getting all the prices six or seven times a year...

CDNN sells top notch stuff at great prices, and they also have one of the most knowledgeable and friendly sales staffs of any company in any business...

I buy stuff from them...

Forrest

Im gonna call them tomorrow when they open. In the mean time is the catalog free and just like the PDF?

I am mad at everyone here who bought one of these and posted all about it here.... you made me so jealous I had to order one for myself today! Shame on you folks for making me do this.

and Yes they still have some.....and will have 400 stocks coming in soon.....

I got the email from CDNN a while back and picked up one of the FN PBR XP barrelled actions in 300 WSM. They were $449.00 from the outset.

Got a Hogue stock for a short action model 70 and had to relieve the inletting on the bottom to fit the magazine plate and trigger assembly in order to fit the action. The top dropped in just fine. The barrel is nicely floated. This version has the box magazine that holds three rounds.

An hour of dremel work with a wee bit here and a wee bit there and it fits perfectly. Very solid setup. Weighs 9.75 pounds without a scope on it. Hopefully that will absorb some of the magnum recoil.

I won't get around to shooting it for a while because my next move is an appropriate scope for it. The rail that comes with it is first class. The rings that came for free are not going on this rifle.

This is probably one of the best deals I have ever had a chance to take advantage of.

Mine came in today..... I can't wait to get it into a stock and go try it out.....

how about some range reports from the rest of you who bought one of these????

Trigger?

Anyone have any feedback on the trigger in these? Thinking about making the purchase but wondering if the stock trigger is worthwhile or if it will need to be upgraded?

Any thoughts?

The trigger on the PBR XP is excellent (my opinion). It is fully adjustable for over-travel and weight. They come at about 4 1/2 pound and I had no trouble adjusting mine to a little over a pound - maybe two. I don't have a scale to measure. But the trigger breaks nice and has no travel. I understand it is the exact same trigger as the model 70 Winchester. You will not have to replace it.
