Current 9mm with a mag disconnect.

I'm Looking for a 9mm auto with a magazine disconnect, reasonably priced, and it needs to have a mag disconnect for this purpose. The 3913/5906 series of Smith's has gotten very high, do any modern auto's have them besides the LC9?

No new models come to mind, but keep your eyes open for ex-LEO 3rd gen S&W autos. You might come across one at a good price.

I believe the Bersa BP9 has a mag disconnect, some S&W M&P police trades may have it as well. I know for a fact most Browning Hi Powers have them, which you can find at a reasonable price (on the surplus market).

Mag disconnect just isn't too popular with many folks.

Some of the M&P & Sheild pistols by Smith & Wesson have the mag disconnect. I'm not sure where all they're for sale, but I know that they're the California compliant models.

Yep. My SR9 had one. Easily disabled if you change your mind. And last I checked they were still "reasonably" priced.

The Last LEO trade in sig p226 in 9mm that i bought had a disconnect. It was a Michigan State Police ( I think ) that was DOA and had a disconnect. It is now a da/sa and i removed the spring in that actuated the disconnect. I know this is not much help for you but might find a LEO trade in, like others have stated, that has the disconnect you desire.

I do not know what you consider to be reasonably priced but there is the current S&W MP series pistols that have as an option a magazine disconnect.

SR9's all have them. Some M&P's do.

As stated the SR9's disconnect is incredibly easy to remove if you change your mind.

Full size 9mm M&P's for sale in CA had a magazine disconnect. IIRC, they're no longer on the CA DOJ list of "approved" handguns but are available elsewhere.

Ruger LC9 and LC9s have the mag disconnect. The Pro model does not.

Most handguns sold in CA have them. The entire Sig 226 and 229 in CA for sure have them.

You have no idea.

I paid a bit extra for a 226 Elite that didn't have the disconnect.
You can find them but they are all PPTs.

Puts my undies in a twist whenever I talk about it.

Oddly, the common way that folks improve on it is to remove the mag disconnect.

I was going to mention that....but he wants a mag disconnect, so...
Ive left my disconnects in so far. They dont bother me. The triggers are still bett than a (stock) glock imo.
