Range day with CZ 527 7.62x39
All this talk about the CZ 527 7.62x39 made me want to take mine out today, figured I'd share the fun with the good folks here are THR.
First off, it was raining to beat the band, no big surprise here in the great Northwest, it does make the view of the target have that sepia look though
And, the better the scope, the better you see the raindrops. Thank goodness for a mid-priced Nikon!
All the target pictures are shooting Hornady 123 grain SST at 100 yards. The rifle has a Nikon 2.5-10x40 Prostaff 5 mounted. Also mounted was a front Harris bipod, buttstock supported with sandbags.
I have to say, this rifle is more fun to shoot than can possibly be described in words. For what it is, it just feels "right". Not surgical, not scatter-gun, not ammo-dump, just plain fun.
The last target picture is 10-shots, the rest are all 5-shots.
