Quick question on opinions. Had an old beat up 22 revolver. Colt style knock off. It was an H. Schmidt. POS. Had a deal for other things, and threw in the Schmidt mostly to get rid of it. I was looking at getting a semi-auto 22 in the $200 price range. Ruger, Taurus, Walther, etc.... However, I was at one of the gun stores yesterday, and the owner got in (On a trade) a Dan Wesson 22 revolver. Very heavy. Very good shape. Not sure if it's one of the older original manufactures or the newer facility. Only has the 1 barrel. (Be honest, can't remember if it was a 4" or a 6". Had pachmyer grips. After some negotiating, the gun store owner will take no lower than $225 for it. Do you think that's decent? I really want a replacement 22lr pistol. Maybe I should wait for a semi-auto. I like the fact that it's not a single action only like so many of the "Cowboy" style 22lr revolvers. Thoughts?????
