After 65 years neitherModern Women...what can you say???
my wife or I qualify as "modern". If we were automobles we would have been turned into chinesium steel long ago.

I am in awe of a man who can last 65 years with the same woman. Much respect! And happy anniversary!
I'm just over 38 years with my current wife and still can't figure out how we lasted this long... I am highly impressed that so many of us have remained married for so many years; I think it speaks to the maturity, temperament and stability of many of our members.

My wife's oldest sister and her husband made it for well over 70 years and would still be going except she died last year. I can't remember exactly but they had two kids in school when we married. She took the covid shot and never felt right afterward but went ahead and got the booster and was soon in the hospital and expected not to live but she fooled everyone. She was never in good health afterward though and one afternoon fell in the kitchen and hit her head on the countertop on her way down. She lived five days without waking up. I may be whistling in the dark but if she hadn't got the booster she might still be with us.
