I was finally able to convince my wife that I need a new 1911. My old one just wasn't making me happy. After a bit of discussion(ie begging, pleading, wining) she relented and I am the new owner of a Springfield Champion.
Now since I havn't had to test fire any new ammo for so long I couldn't remember how much I put through my former carry gun before I deemed it acceptable to carry. Since I know everyone here has plenty of opinions to spare.
How many rounds do you shoot before you consider your ammunition reliable for your gun?
