Delay at gunshow?

So I was reading the other gun show thread , and I got to thinking . What happens if you get a delay on your NICS check at a gun show? There are not any local gunshows here , but I could always make arangments to go to one in Anchorage . My last purchase got me a delay , and I might not be able to stick aroundin Anchorage for the entire three day wait. What would I do if I got delayed at the show? Could the dealer send me the fire arm at my house because I already did the NICS? Or would I have to have it sent to a local FFL and risk getting delayed again?Would that violate the three day max rule?Any body ever have a delay in a different town? What happened?

If Alaska has the provision that a CCW holder can skip the NICS check, then I'd get one. Here in NV I just show the license and skip the check. I doubt they could send it you - you'd have to go get it or pay for transfer to a closer FFL. What a mess! Good luck!

Ummmm.....I think WildAlaska was referring to your ability to defend yourself in Alaska without the .gov's permission. So bypassing the NICS check is the only tangible benefit Alaskans get from having a permit.
